For best results, machine wash separately in cold water using your usual detergent. Use only non-chlorine bleach as needed. Tumble dry without heat (air cycle only) or line dry. We know you want your blanket back quickly and line drying shouldn't take long at all if you drape it over a chair or drying rack, or hang it on a clothes line.

After taking it to my car I further inspected it for the brand and the Berkshire tag was still attached, I logged onto the websight and I was thinking there is no way these are still available, I was ecstatic to find that these were still being sold!! I ordered 2 extra large, extra fluffy throws and they were identical to what I had, minus some wear. These are definitely a soft like no other. They are lightweight and warm. It's summer and I'm using it as a blanket on my bed and it's just right, I'm covered from neck to toes. Can't go wrong with these. I was trying to replace a blanket from a nicer home store and this did not match up at all. Overall weight is light and very thin. I got the navy and even after washing and then shaking outside it will not stop shedding. It's all over everything, cream couch, carpet, me! The final straw for me was walking into a supercenter store and finding the EXACT same blanket (maybe few inches smaller) at half the cost of what I paid! I thought this was a specialty item, not sold at a local supercenter. It's fantastic and feels as soft as bunny fur, and truly warm. My husband was jealous so I got another for him and he's very happy with it, sleeps with it over him on the couch if his team isn't winning. Also, this blanket is very inexpensive for its high quality. We've had to send back 2 from other stores - they fell apart - but not these. Thank You, Berkshire! They would make great Christmas gifts. I haven't washed them yet but expect they'll be fine. It was delivered fast and I was pleased with the way it looked. The blanket was very soft and the color was just as described. When I pulled it out of the package though there was a decent size hole in the center of the blanket. For the price you pay, product should not shed. Got the Tupac throw for Christmas and love the light weight aspect and softness. But why does the white one shed everywhere and the blue one does not? we washed both by the way.

Not sure of material on throw you are asking about. I do have one I purchased about 5yrs ago, polyester, I just love, never shed from the beginning. Purchased at a store. Another I ordered year ago, polyester, sheds. Both are Berkshire. I am convinced even the outstanding companies are cutting back on quality.
