WARRANTY INFORMATION

This product comes with a 5-Year Limited Warranty

Berkshire Blanket & Home Co.® warrants its heated products (featuring Intellisense™, PerfectHeat™ and other technologies) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for five years from the date it was manufactured. This warranty covers the controller, wiring and the product itself. This warranty does not cover abuse, accident or damage resulting from failure to follow included care and use instructions and manuals, use of improper voltage/current, or modifications/repairs to the product not performed by the manufacturer. Any attempts to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this product will void this warranty. 

Berkshire Blanket & Home Co., at its discretion, will either advise to dispose of the item and issue a one-time refund, or provide a return label and conduct testing.

To the extent permitted by law: (a) this warranty is in lieu of all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose; and (b) all other implied warranties and any liability not based upon contract are hereby disclaimed and excluded. 

To the extent permitted by law, in no event shall Berkshire Blanket & Home Co. be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or special damages, regardless of whether a claim for such damages is based on warranty, contract, negligence or otherwise. To the extent permitted by law: Berkshire Blanket & Home Co.’s liability is limited to the heated product itself and in no event shall Berkshire Blanket & Home Co.’s liability to the purchaser for damages hereunder exceed the purchase price of the products in respect of which damages are claimed.

FAQ

My Remote is not working. How can I get a replacement?

Unfortunately we don't offer replacement cords separately for liability reasons. If you believe your remote is not working due to a manufacturing defect, you can register your heated product to be eligible for our warranty. You can then email our customer service team with pictures and a description of your issue, and we will review your claim to see if you are eligible for a one-time refund. 

I want a longer cord for my heated blanket. Can I purchase a longer one?

We do not currently carry remotes with cord lengths that vary. The cord length for our heated throws measure 9FT, and the cord for our heated blankets measure at 15FT.

My remote control is flashing. What should I do?

Our remotes have an auto-shut off feature for safety precautions. When the heat setting times out, it will flash. Re-select a heat setting to reactivate the heat or try unplugging and plugging the remote back in. If this doesn’t work, please register for our warranty, follow our Quality Claims Procedure, and we will provide instructions to you on how to receive a one-time refund.
