WARRANTY INFORMATION

This product comes with a 5-Year Limited Warranty

Berkshire Blanket & Home Co.® warrants to the original end-user purchaser that its heated products purchased in the United States and other regions will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for five years from the date it was purchased. This warranty covers the controller, wiring, and the product itself when put to normal use and cared for in accordance with product use instructions and/or manuals issued by Berkshire Blanket & Home Co. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear; damage from abuse, accident, or damage resulting from failure to follow included care and use instructions and manuals; use of improper voltage/current; or modifications/repairs to the product not performed by the manufacturer.
Berkshire Blanket & Home Co., will either advise to dispose of the item or provide a return label and issue a one-time refund.
To the extent permitted by law: (a) this warranty is in lieu of all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose; and (b) all other implied warranties and any liability not based upon contract are hereby disclaimed and excluded. Some states and regions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
To the extent permitted by law, in no event shall Berkshire Blanket & Home Co. be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or special damages, regardless of whether a claim for such damages is based on warranty, contract, negligence or otherwise. To the extent permitted by law: Berkshire Blanket & Home Co.’s liability is limited to the heated product itself and in no event shall Berkshire Blanket & Home Co.’s liability to the purchaser for damages hereunder exceed the purchase price of the products in respect of which damages are claimed. Some states and regions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
To request action under this warranty, or if your product arrives damaged or has any other quality-related issue, please contact us right away via email at customercare@berkshireblanket.com or call Customer Service at 1-800-372-2018 between the hours of 8AM-5PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. You will be required to furnish proof of purchase, including date of purchase in the U.S. or other region. You may also be provided with a return label for the return of the product so that Berkshire Blanket & Home Co. can conduct testing to confirm that the product is covered by the warranty.

FAQ

My Remote is not working. How can I get a replacement?

Unfortunately we don't offer replacement cords separately for liability reasons. If you believe your remote is not working due to a manufacturing defect, you can register your heated product to be eligible for our warranty. You can then email our customer service team with pictures and a description of your issue, and we will review your claim to see if you are eligible for a one-time refund. 

I want a longer cord for my heated blanket. Can I purchase a longer one?

We do not currently carry remotes with cord lengths that vary. The cord length for our heated throws measure 9FT, and the cord for our heated blankets measure at 15FT.

My remote control is flashing. What should I do?

A flashing remote indicates a faulty connection. Ensure the cord is securely inserted into the outlet, and that the connector on the blanket is fastened tightly. You can also try clicking through the settings to see if it resets. If this doesn’t work, please register for our warranty, follow our Quality Claims Procedure, and we will provide instructions to you on how to receive a one-time refund.

How do I choose the appropriate Temperature Setting For Me?

We recommend beginning on the lowest setting and increasing the temperature based on your comfort level. Our heated products identify temperature based on relative levels rather than exact degrees. This allows our products to heat more effectively and independent of external factors.

Can I use an extension cord with my heated item?

We do not advise the use of extension cords with our heated products.
